Bookings in advance are welcome. Please allow 1-2 days to receive confirmation, based on the immediacy of the trip date entered by you. 

Please note, all trips after 8pm need to be booked no later than 8pm. For special events, call us to plan ahead.

Passenger capacity

 
 
Our water taxis carry 17 passengers and tinnies seat a maximum of 4. Note: children require a seat for taxi bookings and no more than 4 people of any age in rental tinnies. By booking a water taxi ride or tinny with us online or via phone, you agree to Hawkesbury Water Taxi’s terms.

Rental boats info

 
 

Information for tinnies hired as a part of the taxi & tinny package. Responsible and sober adults 18 years and over can drive. No boat licence required. The rental boats are for daytime use only, and cannot be driven on dusk or at night. These babies come equipped with 8hp outboards and adult life jackets. No more than 4 people of any age in hire boats, at all times. By booking a water taxi ride or rental boat with us online or via phone, you agree to Hawkesbury Water Taxi’s terms.

You can explore or fish within designated areas, please ask us.

Slip, slop, slap (ie. wear sun-cream, hat and long sleeves), and pack cold water. We also suggest closed in, non-slip shoes. Any problems when you’re out, call us 0422 300 100.

Cash or EFTPOS on the day. All major credit cards are accepted.

Luggage

 
 
One airline-size carry on bag each is great, and standard weekend away items. Please note, no cargo (call us should you wish to discuss). Extra fees may apply for additional luggage, this is at the drivers discretion on the day.

Deliveries

 
 
Forgot something or run out of bait? We deliver to houses and boats. We shop at cost price + $10 for our legs. And, it’s a standard taxi ride fee to deliver up to 8pm. After 8pm, send us a text. Please note, any bottle-shop items are required to be purchased by you directly, inline with RSA regulations. Text to book a standard round trip taxi ride. Hawkesbury Water Taxi takes no responsibility for any purchases denied by outlets, and the full return trip taxi fare will apply.
